Attention to Quality During Harvesting
We organically grow the hemp (and all other botanicals) ourselves and pay careful attention to quality during harvest. The hemp is tested pre- and post-harvest for cannabinoid levels, mold, and heavy metals. We carefully tend to the plants and harvest only the best flowers at their peak. We buck the hemp as we harvest, meaning the flowers are stripped from the branch, and then we thoroughly dry it.
Cryo-Ethanol Extraction
We then have it extracted by the professionals at Kria Botanicals in Burlington, VT, using the cryo-ethanol method. The whole plant extract we get back form Kria is 100% organic hemp compounds.
Very importantly, our whole plant hemp extract is FULL SPECTRUM. This means that all of the cannabinoids in the hemp plant are present, as well as the terpenes and flavonoids. I really like how LEAFWELL explains Full Spectrum:

Care in Formulation
Another reason our products work well is because I make sure that I formulate them carefully and potently, I start by adding 5% more whole plant hemp extract hemp than the formulation calls for to ensure the minimum stated potency. I gently heat the oil infusions just enough so that all of the whole plant hemp extract has dissolved into the oils. Any other ingredients are certified organic and as unrefined as possible.
