Why is independent, third party testing important?

Hemp-derived products are being sold across state lines, online, and through mainstream retailers. But the lack of consistent regulation allows for the marketing of untested and inaccurately labeled products. Good, honest companies are looking for ways to establish trust, and the most transparent way to do this is with third party testing. ​

Mad River Botanicals products are third party tested using an independent, fully ISO/IEC17025 accredited lab to ensure potency, consistency, and quality in every batch. And all of our raw hemp ingredients are tested for pesticides, heavy metals, mycotoxins, and bacterial and fungal contaminants to maintain the maximum level of safety. ​

Our organic hemp crops are all certified by Vermont Organic Farmers and the USDA.
